We've been closing cereal boxes wrong for our entire lives.
If your home is anything like ours, food waste can be a bit of a sore point. Being smart with our food storage and keeping food fresher for longer has been something we've definitely been trying to master in the last few weeks. That's why this cereal box hack has been a complete gamechanger.
The hack was coined by UK mum Becky Holden McGhee, who said that although it has taken her forty years, she has finally figured out the real way to close cereal boxes. In her (now viral) Facebook post, she said:
"It takes seconds, no more dried up cereal and ugly torn boxes to greet me every morning 😂 "
The hack really is so simple and helps to make your cupboards look much tidier and more organized, as well as keeping your cereals super fresh. Becky even included an easy video tutorial in her post too, making it so easy to try out for yourself.
The UK based mum shared this brilliant hack last week and it has since gone viral, racking up a whopping 23k reactions, 318 comments and 139k shares.
While some people commented that they have been doing this for years, most people were astounded and excited to try it out for themselves.
Will you be giving this brilliant cereal box hack a go?
