The Body Coach Made Us Cry For All The Right Reasons

In this simple thirty second video we are transported to their family breakfast table and a simple exchange between father and daughter is completely full of magic.

Joe Wicks (also known as The Body Coach) is a world renowned fitness instructor. He is so much more than that though. He's built an empire of accessible home work-outs, healthy eating plans and recipes that have changed the way people think about food.

In particular we are big fans of Wean In 15. This is The Body Coach's foray in to cooking food for babies and young children. In doing so he has inspired the weaning journey of a lot of parents.

One of our favourite things about Wean In 15 is the fact that it gives us a glimpse in to his life as a father. Joe Wicks has a daughter (Indie, aged 1) and a baby son (Marley, four months). As well as building a successful business Joe Wick's is a doting father and one year old Indie regularly features in his Instagram posts and throughout his cookbooks.

Just this week The Body Coach made us cry and not for the reasons you might be thinking. It wasn't the result of a difficult PE Class or work-out, but rather a beautiful moment between father and daughter at the breakfast table.

In a Facebook post Wicks said

"I've started telling my daughter Indie to dream big before she goes to sleep and then in the morning we talk about her dreams. Look at what she said this morning"

We are currently experiencing anxious and uncertain times but being transported to the simple, safe and happy world of one year old Indie was just what we needed today. Sometimes the simplest dreams are the ones that contain the most magic.

I’ve started telling my daughter Indie to dream big before she goes to sleep and then in the morning we talk about her dreams. Listen to what she said this morning 😩❤️😍
