Magic Awaits At This Roscommon Harry Potter Hideaway

Hardcore Hogwarts fans will be weak at the knees when they see this stunning property located in the west of Ireland.

With international travel plans uncertain for
the foreseeable future, more and more Irish families are looking for the perfect post-lockdown getaway, and we think we have found it - especially for Harry Potter fans.

Draíocht House located in Boyle, Co. Roscommon is the ideal location for anyone still waiting on their Hogwarts acceptance letter.

The unique property touches on the Harry Potter
world in ways we have never seen before with features such as a Hogwarts luggage trolley sticking out of the wall just like Platform 9 ¾ complete withtrunks as well as broomsticks, flags and more.

And with no detail spared, each of the four bedrooms is all modelled after each Hogwarts house - Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.

Hardcore Hogwarts fans will be weak at the knees when they see this stunning property located in the west of Ireland.

The wizarding world dream house comes with a large half acre to the back of the property which includes a decked BBQ area, a vegetable garden and a newly built treehouse perfect for keeping the little ones entertained.

Plus the house is located a short five-minute walk from shops, restaurants and pubs, and the surrounding areas are a thriving hub of activities and things to do. Historical sites such as King House, Boyle Abbey and Lough Key Forest Park are just a short drive away.

The magic house, a labour of love of Conall Hamill has created a massive buzz in Boyle in recent days with many locals flocking to the house just to get a glimpse of the outside.

According to the listing, up to seven people can stay for €149 a night, with a minimum of a two-night stay.

Proving popular, the impressive Harry Potter themed house packed with wonderful wizardly interiors is booked solid for the remainder of July and August. Every weekend in September and Halloween is also unavailable, so I wouldn’t leave it too long to book a mini-break away.
