TikTok hacks - they're completely endless, right? However, every time we try one they're a complete success - and this one is no different.
Summertime and good weather mean we'll be craving ice-cold drinks by the gallon. We can't be the only one who absolutely hates filling the ice cube tray up though.
It's cold, it's messy and we always inevitably end up getting completely soaked in tap water by the end of it, which really doesn't scream "chill summer vibes".
That's why we were completely blown away when we saw this hack doing the rounds recently. It shows that there's actually a correct way to fill up our ice cube trays from the tap, and we have in fact been doing it completely wrong for years.

The video was shared by TikTok user @4jmjcbitxh (brittnaenae) and has now reached a whopping 4.4 million views on TikTok. I guess we weren't the only ones filling up our ice cube trays wrong.
In the video, the TikTok user reveals that you need to fill the water up along the middle line, which splits the water evenly between four ice cube sections at a time - no fuss, no mess, no water splashing aggressively at our faces. Who knew?
It really is the small things that bring the most joy. We cannot wait to try this out ourselves!
