The Bum Wiping Hack Every Parent Needs To Know

A video of a teacher demonstrating how to wipe your bum properly to a classroom of small children has gone viral for all the right reasons and we absolutely LOVE it.

We all know too well the challenges mums and dads face when it comes to parenting and teaching children basic life skills is one of them.

Look at potty training, for example. It can be a really daunting and for some - a long process with many bumps and roundabouts.

And then of course, once they have nailed the potty training milestone you then have to teach your child how to wipe their butt which in my experience can be a messy job.

However, last month a video went viral on social media and it could possibly be the best parenting hack ever.

The origins of the video are currently unknown but what seems to be a preschool teacher can be seen showing her young students how to wipe their bums properly using two balloons. It is genius.

The creative teacher demonstrates a step-by-step guide to the proper way to wipe your bum using the front-to-back technique, how to fold toilet paper correctly and how to stay put on the toilet while doing so.

Everything about it is perfection.

To date, the clip shared on Facebook with 158k reactions and 314k comments so far.

In the comments, parents have been praising the unnamed teacher's efforts and we completely agree. She is without a doubt the fairy godmother of bum wiping.

One parent wrote: "The only way to learn is by what we see, good for her even though it may look a little silly being taught as a class. She took the time to find a way to show them and I can appreciate that."

Another said: "I don't know about you but this will be a hack I'll be implementing in my house."

While another Facebook user hilariously translated the catchy song which we can't get out of our heads. He wrote: "Here's how we wipe our butt, here's how we wipe our butt, we go up and down then look at what we found, here's how we wipe our butt..."
