Amy Schumer And Her Husband Share "Genius" Parenting Hack

Is Amy Schumer the next big mummy blogger? With this hack, she may well be.

Amy Schumer is known by many for her refreshing honesty about, well, just about everything.

Since starting her pregnancy journey she has been extremely open about all of the highs, lows and in-betweens of becoming pregnant through IVF. She currently has a nine-month-old son named Gene and is now doing another round of IVF in the hopes of giving him a sibling.

In a recent update on Instagram, she shared this:

"I am so grateful for our son and that we have the resources to get help in this way. I just wanted to share and send love and strength to all of the warrior women who go through this process. 🎸💪🏾 "

Now, Schumer hopes to share more than love to her followers - that's right, she's sharing parenting hacks.

Last night, she posted a picture of her family to Instagram with the caption:

"We posted a parenting hack on my YouTube channel. Let me know your thoughts please! Link in bio."

In the video, Schumer and her husband Chris Fischer reveal a play area that they made for their son using the simplest of supplies.

"We want to give our advice about parenting," Schumer says, "because we've learned so much and our first advice/tip is a toy for a baby around 7-8 months old."

Her husband Chris then turns the camera to reveal box, with blankets around the edges and cushions on the inside. Amy advises:

"Get a big box, clear it out and make sure there are no staples in it. Then you put blankets around it, put some toys in it, and we put an egg crate on the bottom."

Something that we can all take from this is that no matter how much money you have, no matter how famous you are and no matter how many toys your child has, one simple truth remains: kids. love. boxes.
