Do you have this baby chair? Stop using it immediately.

Argos Ireland is recalling this very popular product due to a potential safety issue.

The retailer is recalling the Cuggi Mushroom High Chair as it is not properly supported – it is feared that if a baby was to lean to one side, the chair may topple over, leading to injury.

Irish customers are being told to return the product (catalogue number 7094143) to their nearest Argos store where they will receive a full refund of €37.99 – no receipt necessary. People who have bought the chair are also being encouraged by Argos to stop using it immediately.

In a recall notice on their site, they said: “The safety of our customers is our highest priority, please be assured that no other highchair is affected by this issue.”
