Easter time is a favourite among kids. They get two weeks off school and are treated to lots of chocolate eggs, so it's no surprise really.
However, for those who have a dairy intolerance, it can be a bit of a tricky time.
There may be plenty of chocolate eggs in the stores but, unfortunately, not all of them are suitable for kids with allergies. And finding one for a dairy-free child can be tough.
So, to help make the job a little easier on everyone, we have found five really tasty eggs that are all dairy-free and perfect for both kids and adults.

3. So Free White Chocolate Alternative Egg
This So Free egg doesn’t contain milk, nuts or gluten and is free from palm oil. It is suitable for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs and is available in Holland and Barrett. A 100g egg will set you back just €3.49.
4. Hotel Chocolat Soft -Boiled Easter Egg
Hotel Chocolat’s Soft-Boiled Easter Egg is vegan-friendly and even comes in a compostable bag.
This one is available online but you can also buy Easter eggs in their store in Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin. This one is a little more expensive and will set you back £10.
5. Moo Free Sea Salt And Caramel
This ‘marvellously moreish’ Easter egg is dairy-, gluten-, soya-, wheat-, lactose- and casein-free and is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. You can buy this 160g egg in Holland and Barret for just €5.65.
