Video; Teaching your kid the basics to riding a bike in 30 minutes

And did you know that stabilisers are not recommended

Learning how to ride a bike is one of those days that a parent and child will never forget. Teaching your child this new skill opens up a whole new world to them and is something that is never forgotten. Despite the big achievement that is it, it’s not that difficult to master if you follow a few basic steps. In this clip the instructor recommends using a balance bike before learning to ride. If your child has not got one then you can remove the peddles of your starter bike and let them master the art of balancing before introducing peddles.
Most important is to keep it fun, your child will learn at their own pace. Most children are ready to learn between 3 and a half and 4 and a half but others might need to be a little older.
