Müller Products Being Recalled Due To Possibly Containing Piece Of Metal

Müller has said they are recalling some of their products as a precautionary measure.

Müller, a popular family favourite among many, has released a statement with their decision to recall some batches of Müller Fruit Corner and Müllerlight, Müller Bliss Mascarpone and Müller Rice due to the possible presence of pieces of metal in the products.

According to their website,

"The decision follows the identification of a fault with a roller supporting belts used to transport fruit in its factory. The roller was misaligned potentially causing small pieces of metal to drop into the fruit."

The company has stressed that this is a precautionary measure only and they have not detected any traces of metal in samples of these batches.

The company has also said that:

"Consumers have been asked not to eat affected products, and to return them to the store where they were purchased for a refund. Members of the public who are concerned can also contact Müller’s consumer care team directly at: [email protected] or 01630 692000."
