6 Things To Love About Your Child’s Teacher

Teachers are special people who spend their days teaching our children everything from reading to writing to social skills and teamwork.

Teachers are often loved by their students as they care for them during the day and they become the main caregiver to your child (after parents) and it is good for kiddies to know how important teachers are.

We love teachers and in turn so do our kids, so here are a few things to love about your child’s teacher:

Patience

Teachers have a huge amount of patience and your child will love this about them. It takes a very special person to be able to be patient with young kids and allow them to learn under their watchful eye.

Your child will enjoy a tiny bit of one-on-one attention as their teacher shows them how to do something and it builds trust in their relationship.

Consistency and routine

Teachers are fans of routine and schedules, so your child will follow strict daily routines instead of doing as they want when they want it, and this makes all the difference.

Your child will like the consistent daily routine and grow accustomed to it which helps home life too as your child will understand why routine is important. Without a good schedule, a teacher couldn’t do what must be done to ensure our children learn properly.

Manners

With large classes, teachers somehow teach their students to be mannerly. They help them to socialise and make friends while encouraging them to go out of their comfort zone.

Shy children may be quieter, but teachers know how to bring the best out of them in the same way more talkative kids learn how to talk less under their teachers’ watchful eye!

Caring

Teachers will see your child every day during the week and they’ll see them grow a lot in a year so they will care about your child. Teachers care about their students and like to see them doing well.

With some children struggling to be away from their parents, teachers take over the caring role for a time and help your child settle into school and most importantly, teachers make children feel safe in their class.

Education

This is probably the most important thing and (though your kids may not realise) one of the biggest things to love about teachers are their skills to teach.

With their knowledge, they share how to do maths, English and everything else without getting into a sweat. This education is key to your child’s future and with continued learning, they’ll get the foundations laid for their prospects in the years ahead.

Teachers are the beginning of your kids’ educational journey.

Encouragement

Teachers have more experience in encouraging kids to do things than parents and this helps your child learn. They’ll trust their teacher when he/she says they’ll learn how to read and not to worry if they can’t do division yet. With the encouragement a teacher offers, they’ll get there.
