Household chores we never get around to...

How many times a day do we say ‘When I get a chance I need to…'

How many times a day do we say ‘When I get a chance I need to…’
The trouble is our list of things to do is never ending! Here are the chores that we know deep down we’ll never get round to!

Cleaning the grout around the tiles
It’s manky, it annoys us everytime we look at it and we even checked out a great homemade recipe that promises that it’ll look brand new. Unfortunately it’s never gonna happen…

Landscaping the garden
You’ve bought the gardening magazines, you’ve watched the gardening TV shows and you know exactly how you’d like it in your head. Trouble is you can’t even keep your pot plants alive…

Shampooing the carpets
Since you had kids your carpets have gone from a sumptuous cream to a dirty brown. Hoovering’s all well and good but the stains don’t budge an inch. You’d love to give them a good scrub but you’ve been saying that for three years… How about getting a rug?

Clearing out the attic
There’s so many boxes up there that you can’t see the ground and unfortunately you never got round to labelling them. You bring stuff up there all the time; funnily enough nothing ever comes back down. Oh well, out of sight, out of mind…

Polishing your cutlery
If you ever had a Saturday job in a restaurant you probably remember standing with a tea towel and a jug of hot water polishing the cutlery until it was gleaming. You often look at your own cutlery thinking that it looks far from sparkly. Problem is you rarely polish your mirrors, let alone your knives and forks.

Cleaning the windows
The other day you were convinced when you looked outside that the weather was miserable, it turns out that it was actually a lovely day and it was just your grimy windows playing tricks on you. It’s so handy to spray screen wash onto the windscreen of your car, shame they haven’t invented something similar for windows… LOL!
