Christmas Nibbles: What You Need For The Perfect Get Together

Ah, the annual Christmas get together.

Christmas time can be a busy time full of entertaining visitors and welcoming guests. Although you may not be hosting a full dinner it is still nice to have some Christmas nibbles for when family or friends do call over.

It can be difficult to know what to offer but fear not we have you covered:

Crabmeat dip.

This is the underdog of dips. There are an array of recipes online but when you find one that suits your taste buds you will never look back. Serve with fresh veg to dip in and you are onto a winner. You can use celery, carrots, peppers, broccoli or even breadsticks.

Is any get together really complete without a cheese board? Most supermarkets even have ready-made cheese boards, all you have to do is the presentation.

Mince Pies

Hate them or love them, there is no denying that Christmas for most means mince pies - they need to be included in a Christmas nibbles night. Have some on a plate with whipped cream and custard nearby. A little amount of icing sugar sprinkled on top after heating them up gives the perfect illusion of home-made too! You’re welcome!

Christmas leftover plate.

If you are nearing the end of the festive period don’t worry. Put out a platter of a little bit of everything you have left.

Pretzel mix.

Loved by adults and children alike. Pretzel mixes are a great idea for those who just want a little pick at something.
