Pippa Goodhart & Rebecca Crane explore the importance of personal space.

WHAT DO PARENTS NEED TO KNOW?

My Very Own Spaceis rich in imagery and will appeal to children who like minimal text. It explores the topic of personal space and alone time.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The key message in this book is the importance of personal space. A young Rabbit wants to read her book in peace but the busy world around her makes it difficult to do so. She is craving some quiet time and personal space but keeps being interrupted. Rebecca Crane's beautiful illustrations do a lot of the storytelling, and they tell it wonderfully.

WHAT DO WE SAY?

We really value the fact that this book explores such an important topic, but in a way that little minds can understand. We know that children crave their own space, even from a young age, and it's great to show how normal that is. The illustrations bring the key message in the story to life and it is a beautiful addition to any book shelf.

WHAT DO KIDS SAY?

I like this book because sometimes I don't want to play with my sister and she still follows me.
