How To Make Your Very Own Mermaid Pasta

Mermaid pasta is a firm favourite in our house at the moment and it is SO easy!

Do you dread the daily “what’s for dinner?” question?
I feel it coming before they have even said it and I grimace. But, lately, I have been trying to stir it up a bit and add a little variety for the kids and also for me!
And this mermaid pasta recipe from MyRecipes is a firm favourite in our house at the moment, and it is SO easy!
What you will need:
  • Water
  • Uncooked pasta shells
  • Food colouring: pink, purple, and turquoise, or any colour of your choice
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 zip lock bags
How to make it:
Cook the pasta shells in boiling water until they are al dente.
Fill all three ziplock bags with the pasta.
In each bag add a drop of food colour.
Mix until all your pasta is covered.
Pour all the pasta into one bowl and sprinkle a little Parmesan on top
Add all the pasta
Easy as that, mermaid pasta!
