Avril Flynn

Avril Flynn LLB BSc(Mid) has worked in the midwifery field for over 10 years.

Avril is a registered midwife and has worked in both a private maternity setting and in some of the busiest maternity units in the public system, as a fertility nurse and of course, as a mother herself.

Avril brings a unique perspective to help you and your family. Offering practical, invaluable advice that is steeped in evidence-based practice but delivered with fun, kindness, humour and a good dose of common sense.

Avril has her own practice providing antenatal and postnatal support and childbirth and baby preparation classes. She is also a qualified Hypnobirth practitioner. She combines all of her experience and knowledge to create tailored packages for her clients - pregnant women, birth partners, single-parent families, same-sex parents and families who are having their babies via surrogacy or adoption.

Avril is the host of the Motherboard podcast and and has also presented live events.
