Connemara Green Festival - October 12th - 14th 
A relatively new festival celebrating mother nature. The Connemara Green Festival aims to raise awareness of the unique ecology of Connemara and raise funds for biodiversity projects. Based in Letterfrack village families will be able to enjoy many of the free events including hill walks, cooking demonstrations, scavenger hunts, nature workshops, foraging on the seashore and pond dipping. It is a festival not to be missed!

Arnotts, Dublin - October 13th
To celebrate STEM and the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, Arnotts will be transforming their Childrenswear Department into an awesome family fun-filled day. Enjoy interactive workshops with Djeco Arts and Crafts or check out our very own Irish Space Advocate, Dr Niamh Shaw, who will be sharing tales of her space training adventures and science extraordinaire, Dr Jennifer Cleary, will be showcase wacky experiments and fun science tricks throughout the day. The event is completely free and takes place on Saturday the 13th of October from 10.30am – 4pm.

Me And The Moon Crafts, Kilruddery House - October 13th
Drop into Kilruddery House and Gardens for an artistic workshop suitable for children from 6 months right up to 12 years. The 30-minute drop-in art session will take place in the Fruit Room within Kilruddery's Walled Garden between 11am and 4pm costing €5 per easel.

Frozen Sing-Along, Pavilion Theatre - October 14th
This weekend the Pavilion Theatre will be screening the Disney favourite Frozen: Sing-Along at 4pm. A family ticket of 4 is priced at €22 and pre-booking is highly recommended.

And of course, for a limited time, Dublin Zoo have slashed their prices in half this weekend. Both families and individuals can avail of a 50% discount on day tickets at the main admissions gate at Dublin Zoo. This offer is only valid Saturdays and Sundays from September 29th until October 21st.
