There are numerous places across Ireland excelling in our expectations, here are some of our favourite indoor play centres:
Kidspace Rathcoole, Dublin
Designed with both parents and children in mind, the brand new Kidspace opened to the public earlier this year offering a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment with experienced staff all with a professional background in childcare. Kidspace have state of the art indoor play centre menu including omelettes, panini's, salads, lasagne and pasta as well as the usual chip and nuggets offerings. They have two separate play area's, one toddler frame and another suitable for children up to ten years of age. Hidden amongst all the fun is a sensory area offering a calm and tranquil environment with a range of stimulating equipment including projectors, infinity panels, bubble tubes and colour wheels just to name a few. During term time at no extra charge Kidspace host toddler activities between 10am - 11am including messy play, arts and crafts, story time, role play and music mornings.

Dreamland Fun Centre, Limerick
A purpose built, all-inclusive play centre because all children have a right to play regardless of their ability or disability. Dreamland was designed to reflect a child’s idea of a magical place, the kind you read about in storybooks. Discover the many areas including the beauty parlour and teddy bear hospital, enchanted light forest, aeroplane room, fire station, sensory room and the magic tree just to name a few. Dreamland opens Tuesday to Sunday and it is suitable for children up to 9 years old.

Wild West Play Village, Mayo
A first of it's kind in Ireland, Wild West Play Village offers both a fun and educational play experience in a beautiful setting located in Westport. A play centre with a difference with an exciting themed soft play village with life-sized building fronts including a Hotel, Jail, General Store and Bank. Hidden amongst this excellent play facility is a state of the art parent inspired sensory room created to enhance every child's experience at the village. Wild West close Monday and Tuesday but open 10am to 6pm every other day. They also open 7 days during school holidays.

Little Big Town, Westmeath
A play centre all about fuelling a child’s imagination through old-fashioned play located in Tullamore. Little Big Town allow children to experience all different types of role play including day to day, career and period role play. Whether children want to drive around our streets in miniature vintage vehicles, get the odd jobs done on the construction site or leave their hobby horse to rest at the cowboy saloon Little Big Town has it all. They even offer fun activities every Tuesday 10am - 1pm for toddlers during term time.
