This cookie dough fudge is a quick, easy treat perfect for a fun-filled weekend.

The weekend has come around once again and it's safe to say that most of us would like to make it special. However, with the temperatures rising, we're less inclined to slave away at a hot oven for some tasty treats. We came across this delicious, easy recipe on Pinterest recently (originally MommySays.com) and we are obsessed.

We are always on the look out for new, easy to make recipe for the weekend and this is a treat like no other. This recipe takes no time at all, requires no baking and leaves you with the most delicious cookie dough flavoured fudge you could imagine.

To make them yourself, all you need is:

  • 1 stick of butter – softened
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of mini chocolate chips
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk – 14 ounces
  • 1 1/2 cups of White Chocolate – melted
  • 1 nine-inch square pan

Line your square pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Then, combine your butter, sugar and vanilla in a bowl.

Then, take the cup of flour and microwave it until it's hot (roughly one and a half minutes). Add a pinch of salt, and mix it with the butter, sugar and vanilla mixture. Add chocolate chips and stir through.

In a separate bowl, melt your white chocolate. Once melted, add in the condensed milk and mix until smooth.

Then, combine the white chocolate mixture to the other bowl and mix until fully combined.

Pour your mixture into the square pan and press evenly. Refrigerate for two hours (or until firm), and you're done!

This cookie dough fudge is honestly delicious and the perfect summer treat. Will you be giving it a go?
