Well, here's a cracking list of eggcellent Easter egg hunts taking place across the country in the coming days and weeks, complete with meet and greets with the Mr Easter Bunny, nature trails and other chocolate-fuelled activities for kids of all ages. 

Eggstravangoo at Dublin Zoo

Hop down to Dublin Zoo for their Easter Eggstravangzoo event from 12-4 pm on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Enjoy games, face-painting, a fun trail and special appearances by the Easter Bunny. Normal admission applies. 

Easter at Luggwoods

Take a trip through the Enchanted Forest this Easter to the secret egg hunt trail before meeting the Mad Hatter for lots of fun and frolics. All kids will get an opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny, ride a pony, make an Easter card and take home a delicious chocolate egg. 

Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt

Cadbury Ireland will be hosting its sixth egg-stra special family day out in aid of Barnardos in Dublin's Merrion Square. Just like previous ticketed events, it promises to be a cracking year with wooden games, a petting farm, face painting, music and a bunny village - something to get everyone excited this Easter.

Hop on the Rathwood Express to the enchanted forest and help Little Red Riding Hood find the m Freddy Fox before meeting the Easter Bunny and take home a well deserved and delicious chocolate egg. 

Clonfert Pet Farm

This Easter, join Alice for the Mad Hatters Tea Party, the Easter Bunny and friends on their quest to solve the treasure hunt with lots of fun and games. Booking is essential - entry will not be permitted without a valid ticket. 

Greenan Maze

Bunny-hop through Grennan Maze as they celebrate their biggest Easter egg hunt ever. Spot the Easter Bunny and Cheeky Chicks hopping about the mazes, and help solve the puzzle to claim a chocolate reward. Maze egg hunts take place from Easter Saturday until Easter Monday from 10 am to 5 pm and pre-booking is highly advised.  

Easter at Wells House & Gardens

The kids will be egg-static to hear Wexford’s favourite annual Easter egg hunt is back for another year with a special appearance from the Easter Bunny, egg hunts, live music and a barbeque on the terrace. Tickets for the Easter Sunday egg hunt are €5 per child and spaces are limited. 

Causey Farm

This Easter Sunday and Monday, Causey Farm has an action-packed afternoon of eggcellent Easter fun with a meet and greet with Mrs Bunny, eggciting eggsperiments (sorry, we had to) and a chance to meet lots of springtime babies around the farm. Booking in advance is recommended costing €12 per person.
