With Easter almost upon us, we have compiled a list of Easter Egg Hunts taking place across the country in the coming weeks. So if you're hatching a plan for an egg-citing family day out this April, here are some of the most recommended Easter Egg Hunts we think you will love.
Clonfert Pet Farm, Kildare
This spring Clonfert will be expanding as they reveal a brand new section to the ever-growing petting farm. However, this Easter they will be hosting one hell of a party with egg hunts alongside the Easter Bunny, face painting and so much more. Other activities include two outdoor playgrounds, bouncy castles, indoor play area, mini-golf, go-karts and of course, no visit is complete without seeing all the new arrivals including chicks, lambs and bunnies.
When: 18th - 22nd April
How much: €25 a family ticket
Belvedere House Gardens & Park, Westmeath
Picking up treats along the way, families will make their way through the Easter Treasure Trail to meet the Easter Bunny completing games alongside vibrant costumed characters. Each child will receive an extra special treat once they complete all tasks and families will have access to the grounds.
When: 20th - 22nd April
How much: Under 3's go free, children €8 and adults €6
Brigit's Garden, Galway
Celebrate a funfilled Easter at Brigit's Garden with two types of hunts, one aimed at smaller children around the four Celtic Gardens and a 'mighty hunt' will take place for older kids around the nature trail. Children will meet the Easter bunny, explore the grounds, enjoy games, crafts and they will each receive a prize. Booking in advance is highly recommended.

Westport House & Gardens, Mayo
A firm favourite with families in the west of Ireland, the annual Easter Egg Hunt is back for another year taken place on Easter Sunday from 11am - 6pm. Those who take part will receive an Easter egg and entry to a prize draw at the end of the day. Pre-booking is advised.
When: 21st April
How much: €66.50 (includes all day entry to Pirate Adventure Park, Adventure Activities and Westport House itself)
Birr Castle, Offaly
Back for another year, Birr Castle won't disappoint as kids will get to meet the Easter Bunny and Little Bo Peep. These can then be traded in for chocolate eggs once complete.
