‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ will keep every member of your family entertained, no matter if they have an interest in superhero antics or not.

Just in case you weren’t keeping track of the current superhero standings – ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ is the fourth iteration of Spider-Man on the big screen in less than 20 years.

Having said that, if you’re being dragged to see this by some very eager little ones, and are worried about not seeing or remembering all of the countless other versions of the web-slinger, then don’t fret. Forget everything you’ve seen before now, as ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ is its own entity, and one that is quite possibly the best of the bunch.

Spider-Man’s first foray into movie animation is a memorable one to say the least, and if your children are any bit Spidey-inclined then they are going to love this adventure. The movie follows the journey of high schooler Miles Morales, who gets bitten by a radio-active spider, who then becomes Spider-Man, while also discovering that there just so happens to be five other different Spider-Men that have been transported into his universe’s version of New York City – hence the movie’s title.

Spider-Man’s first foray into movie animation is a memorable one to say the least, and if your children are any bit Spidey-inclined then they are going to love this adventure.

Miles faces a lot of pressure from the outset – having to deal with family issues, juggle schoolwork, and also adapt to all of these new and incredible superpowers that he’s obtained overnight. Interestingly, what makes his struggle all the more realistic is the fantastic animation used throughout the movie; Miles and his new acquaintances look like they have been lifted straight from the pages of a comic-book, and is a feast for the eyes.

Nicolas Cage, John Mulaney, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Shameik Moore, and Kimiko Glenn in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Speaking of Miles’ acquaintances, they provide some of the most memorable scenes of the movie. Who would ever have thought we’d see a Spider-Ham version of the famous webslinger – or even one played by the dark and mysterious Nicholas Cage? There are also some very touching moments in the form of Miles and his parents that may hit closer to home that you would think. This is the Spider-Verse that we’ve been thrust into, and we’re being taken for a turbulent and fun ride, so might as well strap yourselves in.

One of the best superhero movies to grace our screens in a long time, ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ will keep every member of your family entertained, no matter if they have an interest in superhero antics or not.
