Kids love to do some Christmas baking. Yes it is messy and yes they are not the best at measuring accurately but they love it and for me it is more
about the memories doing things like this together brings.

There is nothing better than homemade Christmas snacks. The beautiful smell of Christmas cookies in the oven with the fire on when it is cold outside.

Even the smallest and easiest of recipes can bring your little ones such excitement and memories they will cherish. If you are finding it hard to think of Christmas snack ideas look no further we have some great ideas for you and your little one to enjoy.

Christmas Brownies
Brownies can be the easiest things to make. You can even buy some
ready-made boxes that just need a handful of ingredients added to
it. Cook them accordingly and cut them into triangles when cooled.
Use green food colouring to add to some icing sugar and water and
use a pipe bag to use on the brownie. Start at the tip of the triangle
and go side to side diagonally to make a Christmas tree. Add
sprinkles or pearl balls for the decorations on the tree.

Melted Snowmen
These are super easy Christmas snacks, and really effective. Bake some plain cupcakes, or you could even buy some if you wanted it super super easy! Make some white icing with icing sugar and water. Cover the entire top of the cupcake with white icing, add a white marshmallow to the top of
the cupcake and add some little sweets for eyes and buttons on your
‘melted snowman’. You could use pretzels broken in half as arms or
even melted chocolate in a piping bag to draw out some arms.

Christmas Tree ice cream cones
Another really fun and child friendly Christmas treat you can make
with your little ones. All you need is some ice cream cones, some
sweet treats for decoration and some green icing. You could even
put them all out and let your little one do it all. Dip the cones into
the bowl of icing and turn the cone upside down so it looks like a
Christmas tree. Decorate in any way you want with sweets, jellies
even some shoe laces to use as tinsel.
