How To Make a Homemade Chopping Board Cleaner

  1. Spread about a tablespoon of salt on a chopping board.

Try to get an even spread of salt all over.

  2. Cut lemon in half and use one half to scrub in the salt.

The acid in lemons is antibacterial and antiseptic, making them a perfect cleaning agent.

  3. Wipe residue away.

Use either a paper towel or a cloth (or both) to wipe residue away.

And voila! Your chopping board will be gleaming. There are so many easy ways to clean your home without chemicals, and it's way easier than you think! Limiting your use of chemicals is safe for your home, and friendly for the environment so why not try it out?
