Here are date ideas that will really give you a spring in your step.

With Spring fast approaching we are looking at date ideas that will really give you a spring in your step. Having a date night or day to look forward to can really breathe a bit of fresh air into your life. You might like to spend that date with the person you are romantically involved with or perhaps it’s a close friend or one of the kids? There is no denying the fact that having something to look forward to is hugely transforming in the midst of busy life.
Finding the balance when it comes to date nights can be difficult. Finances can really dictate how often they can happen and for this reason, they may not come around as regularly as you would like. Finding some free date ideas is a really great compromise. A great date doesn’t have to leave you out of pocket or feeling stressed. That defeats the purpose.
Here are some free spring date ideas for you and the people you love
1. A Picnic
It’s not the most creative idea in the world but how often do you actually enjoy a picnic? It is such a refreshing experience to enjoy time outdoors with someone you love. Throw in some delicious food and you have a winning combination. Pop a blanket in a bag, make some tasty sandwiches and enjoy nature together. It is a breath of fresh air to enjoy a change of scenery especially if you can manage to do it without your phone in your hand.
2. A Walk
We are talking proper structured walks here. Ireland is full of beautiful trails and cliff walks that are quite possibly on your doorstep. As the weather gets milder you can enjoy these walks together in the comfort of a lighter jacket! Take in the views, stop for a chat and round it off with a cheeky ice-cream or coffee!
3. Visit A Free Museum Or Gallery
Take a walk into town or hop on the bus and enjoy a free day in your lovely city. You might be surprised by how many free galleries and museums you’ve walked by hundreds of times in the past.
4. Visit A Farmers' Market
It is such an aesthetically pleasing experiencing to stroll around an outdoor space admiring the gorgeous craft and food produce. This one technically won’t be free if you make a purchase but you might just be clever with the weekly food shop that week and leave a little wiggle room for a tasty treat!
5. Build A Fort
Take the duvet downstairs, gather up some snacks and make a list of movies or documentaries to enjoy together in your comfy fort today. There is a “no housework” rule firmly in place and that’s a rule right there.
