If we won the lottery as parents. How different would our wish list be

Like everyone I fantasise on a regular basis about winning the lottery but since we became mothers, has what we would spend the prize money on changed?
  • Our dream car: A two seater sports car wouldn’t cut it when you’ve got a family to consider but a luxury SUV such as a Range Rover would be nice. Mood lighting, seats with a massage function, reclining rear seats and a fridge would all make all mummies very happy.
  • A mansion Or 3: Situated in a sunny climate (goodbye Irish weather) with a view to swoon over, our perfect home would feature a walk in wardrobe for all our yummy mummy clothes, a cinema to host your own movie nights, and a spectacular swimming pool to keep the kids happy for hours and for you to cool off in. Would there be any reason to leave? The only thing is the cleaning and maintenance…
  • Cleaner and gardener: With the size of the house and garden you’d spend all day every day cleaning and pruning so it’s only logical to hire people to do it for you.
  • A private jet: No more worries about limited leg room, excess baggage charges, endless queuing and bored kids. With a private jet we’d actually look forward to our flights.
  • Constant holidays: White sand, turquoise sea, sensational spas, and delicious cocktails. Bring along all your friends and family for a once in a lifetime vay-k. Except you’ll have one five times a year.
  • Book out Disneyland: When you’ve got money to burn you need to think big when it comes to the kid’s birthdays. Disneyland is the most magical place in the world but why would you want to share it with strangers. Just book it out all to yourselves!
  • Designer clothes Bye bye Penneys, hello Prada: You’d no longer have to spend all your hard earned cash on kitting out your kids; now you can treat yourself too! Shmooze your way to a place on the FROW and pick your next season’s outfits directly off the catwalk instead of out of the bargain bin.
  • Full time Nanny? The thing is if you’re paying people to do everything else for you, is there any need for one? I think I’d give this one a miss; but an on call babysitter for impromptu nights out would be nice.
I’ve just realised that this list is starting to look remarkably like Kim Kardashian’s lifestyle…Oh my!
