We all remember that Christmas Day back in 2015 when Downton Abbey ended. Saying goodbye to the Crawley family left many of us seriously heartbroken, with a huge TV hole in our hearts to fill.

Almost four years later, that void will finally be filled with the release of the new Downton Abbey movie.
The highly-anticipated film stars Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael and Jim Carter to name a few, and is sure to be a hit with fans all over.
The television series followed the lives of the Crawley family and the servants who worked for them at the turn of the 20th century in an Edwardian English country house.
Over its six seasons, the series garnered 3 Golden Globe Awards, 15 Primetime Emmy Awards and 69 Emmy nominations in total, making it the most nominated non-US television show in the history of the Emmys.
It even earned a Special BAFTA award and a Guinness World Record for the highest critically rated TV show along the way.

So, yes, it was good!

The movie will be out in cinemas across Ireland on September 13th, and the first trailer has officially landed.
Brace yourself, ‘cause it’s a good one.
