By booking certain days off over the festive period you could be spending a total of 11 days at home by using just four days of your annual leave allowance. This year Christmas Eve falls on a Monday, a scheduled workday with both Christmas Day and St.Stephen's Day falling midweek also.

We are fully aware we are weeks from Halloween but when it comes to Christmas and holidays you can be too prepared.
So for anyone who wishes to take advantage and plan the perfect Christmas at home did you know this year we will have three bank holidays within one week? That's right and we have the perfect holiday hack to get a long Christmas break.

New Year's Eve also happens to fall on a Monday.
So to plan your extended holiday with friends and family book off Christmas Eve, Thursday 27, Friday 28 and New Year's Eve to get 11 days off straight starting December 21.
Although, if you want to take advantage of this little Christmas holiday loophole I wouldn't hang around too long. Get booking those days off as soon as possible before someone else does.
And just to be aware, you may not be the employee of the month with your co-workers if you manage to pull the 11-day holiday stunt off, there will be a stink of jealousy for sure.
