We assumed that it would include tonnes of ingredients that we didn't recognise or couldn't pronounce, but it's a very accessible recipe.
During this time of lockdown and social distancing there have been some positives hidden amongst the chaos. With all of this time spent at home it has reignited or started a love of cooking for a lot of people. Celebrity chefs have been using their platforms to showcase some recipes, hacks and tricks of the trade and we are here for it.
In the same way some restaurants have used this time to create a bit of a buzz about their brand during a time where people cannot enjoy their famous food. We saw IKEA recently released the recipe for their famous meatballs and now Wagamama have followed suit. The famous Japanese style restaurant have released the recipe for their famous Katsu Curry.
In their new online series "Wok From Home" Wagamama are sharing recipes for their best loved restaurant recipes. One such recipe is their famous Katsu Curry. In the first episode chef Steve Mangelshot did a step by step tutorial of the delicious curry dish and we couldn't believe how straight forward it was. We assumed that it would include tonnes of ingredients that we didn't recognise or couldn't pronounce, but it's a very accessible recipe. He also included the Vegan version which we regularly order (trust us, it's unreal).
The series has included so many of our favourite Wagamama dishes such as Wok Fried Greens, Chicken Yaki Soba and Bang Bang Cauliflower giving budding chefs an opportunity to try making their favourite restaurant food.
I guess that's our weekend treat sorted. We can't wait!
