Have you been wanting to shake things up in the kitchen for 2018? Do you find yourself wandering aimlessly around the supermarket looking for inspiration before resorting back to your regular old favourites?  

This recipe might just be the ticket then. This is an ideal mid-week dinner as it is literally ready in 15 minutes max.  

It can also be substituted for prawns, beef or salmon if you don't want to use chicken. This dish is FULL of flavour and works really well with rice, noodles or chips.  

This is a great family recipe as it's mild in flavour, has no spice and has a lovely sweetness. It's usually a hit with children. 

Instructions

  1. Heat up a pan and chop the chicken and vegetables.

    Heat up a pan and add a little oil (or Frylight) to it. Chop chicken and vegetables while it heats.

  2. Add the chicken, veg, garlic ginger and spices.

    Add your chopped chicken and veg along with the garlic, ginger and Chinese 5 spice. Sautee for five minutes until chicken is cooked

  3. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce and honey.

    Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey and stir through.

  4. Serve with rice or noodles.

    Serve immediately with rice or noodles.

  5. Add sesame seeds and fresh coriander.

    Adding a dusting of sesame seeds and a sprinkling of fresh coriander to take it up a notch.
