Microwave Chocolate Chip Cookies

Trying to be good or have a pal coming over? This recipe makes just two delicious cookies.
This microwave chocolate chip cookie recipe is ideal if you don'’t want to use your oven or are worried that if you make a whole batch of cookies that you'll eat them all (like us!)
The recipe makes just two cookies. One for you and one for a friend! Or two for you!  Or you can leave it in the cup and serve it with ice cream! Delish!
  • 40g plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon of caster sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • 2 tablespoons of small chocolate chips
  • In a bowl, put in all the ingredients except for the chocolate chips.
  • Mash up altogether with a fork until thoroughly mixed.
  • Combine with the chocolate chips and gently mix altogether until the chocolate chips are spread evenly throughout the mixture.
  • Lightly coat two ramekins with butter and make two even balls with the mixtureand carefully press each one into the base of each ramekin.
  • Microwave on high for 60 seconds and then take them out to check on.
  • You may need to further microwave for 15-20 seconds- really depending on whether you like them crunchy or not.
  • Done!
