The Ark

City Centre, Co.Dublin
The Ark is a unique, purpose-built cultural centre in the heart of Dublin's Temple Bar, where children aged 2 -12 can explore theatre, music, literature, art, film, dance and more. Our programme of world class performances, exhibitions and creative workshops changes every few weeks, so expect a different experience every visit! To find out what’s coming up at The Ark, check out all our events at Ark events.

The Ark is located in the heart of Temple Bar in Dublin 2, on Eustace Street, which links Dame Street, at the South Great George’s Street junction, and the Quays, at the Millennium Bridge. It's easy to get to us by public transport and there are many family-friendly restaurants and cafes close by. Full directions can be found at visitor info

Prices vary from free to €12 per ticket depending on the event.
You can become one of The Ark’s Family Members and this will get you additional free entries and ticket discounts. Opening hours vary depending on the programme, but we are open to the public most weekends and during school holidays. During term-time we run events and programmes for schools. Age suitability. Our target audience at The Ark are 2-12 year olds, their families and schools. However, this doesn’t mean that all events are suitable for this entire range. Each event is planned carefully for a specific age group in order to ensure that the children involved get the best possible experience. Every event will have an age guide attached to it and we ask that you respect the age guide. If you have any questions about the age suitability of an event, please give us a call.
