Mum who tracks down her anonymous sperm donor marries him
Two people who fell in love after conceiving a daughter through anonymous IVF have married, with their beautiful and unique love story set to become a feature film!
Aminah Hart, from Melbourne, tracked down and fell in love with Scott Andersen, her anonymous sperm donor and they were married in a stunning beachside wedding with their adorable daughter as flower girl.
They firist laid eyes on each other in 2013, a year after their daughter Leila was born. Aminah decided to go through IVF after enduring the tragic loss of her two sons, Marlon and Louis, to a genetic disorder called x-linked myotubular myopathy- a condition that affects muscles used for movement and occurs almost exclusively in boys.
After Leila was born, she decided to reach out to her father as  growing up without a father herself she wanted her child's father to play some role in their life.
Aminah's mum did some digging and was able to find a picture of Mr Andersen online. She encouraged her daughter to get in contact with the clinic so they could pass on her information in case he wanted to get in touch or see a photo of his daughter and he had indicated on his profile that he was willing to meet a child that came from his genetic pool!
They met and fell in love and Scott proposed on what would have been Aminah's late son Louis’ birthday.
Twelve months later and the pair exchanged vows in front of their closest friends and family in Sorrento, Victoria.

What a beautiful love story. We wish them all the very best x
