3 Really Easy Crafts To Make With Your Little Ones

Arts and crafts can be as simple as you like and you’re guaranteed your little one is going to love it!

The Easter holidays can feel like an eternity. Trying to keep the little ones occupied with different activities can soon become tiresome.

This article is part of our #FamilyFun30 Challenge, where every day we set a simple, accessible and fun task to enjoy with your family. Check out the full list of challenges here and get involved!

The beauty of children is that they’re generally very easy to impress. Arts and crafts can be as simple as you like and you’re guaranteed your little one is going to love it!

Here are some fun and, most importantly, easy Easter crafts to try with your little ones!

1. Bunny handprints.

This is a super easy and fun one! It requires some paints and some paper and not a lot else. Paint your little one’s hand or better yet, let them do it and make their handprint on a page! You can make a card for their grandparents or a friend abroad or keep it for yourself and the kids will love the mess.

Let it dry and add some whiskers and some eyes! If you wanted to go that extra step you could get some stickers and some glitter glue and really go mad.

2. Easter Bunny Carrots.

Is any craft ever complete without the use of lollipop sticks? The chameleon of the arts and crafts world. The uses are endless, and kids absolutely love them!

Get yourself some lollipop sticks, stick them together in the shape of a triangle. Stick some paper on the back to close the gap and paint them orange. When they’ve dried, cut up some green crepe paper and stick it to the top for the leaves.

Alternatively, you can use some cut up newspaper painted green for the leaves. It works just as well and is environmentally friendly too!

3. Make your own Easter basket.

Thinking of setting up an Easter egg hunt with plastic Easter eggs? Why not help your little ones make their own baskets first? Kids love Easter egg hunts, and with plastic eggs replacing regular ones, the Easter egg hunt has become even more popular of late.

All you need is some paper cute into equal lengths, some glue, or alternatively a stapler or some sellotape!
