• That's Massive: Something that was cool or epic – it had nothing to do with size!
• Jammy: Someone who is really lucky by total fluke.
• Whatever: Usually accompanied with a hand signal to match in the shape of a “W”. Used in an argument to admit that you are wrong without admitting it, so the argument is over.
• Schwing: Taken from Wayne's World- to us it meant "winning".
• Hasta La Vista, Baby: a catchphrase associated with Arnold Schwarzenegger's character in Terminator 2. It meant “goodbye”.
• Alrighty Then: Jim Carey coined this one! It was a phrase used to dismiss what we thought were the stupid actions of another person.
• As If: Remember the movie CLUELESS staring Alicia Silverstone. To us it meant -no way!
• Talk To The Hand: usually followed by “cause the face aint listening” and a hand gesture equally annoying to match.
• That's My Name, Don't Wear It Out: Said when someone addresses you by your full name and you’re not interested in what they had to say.
• How You Doin'?: Pick up line used by Joey from the TV show Friends.
• Yum Yum Pigs Bum: then followed by “cabbage and potatoes”! That one came long before “Winner winner chicken dinner.”
• NOT!: Made popular by Wayne's World. We would add NOT! to the end of a sentence to make blatant the sarcasm in the sentence itself.
• Take A Chill Pill: Something you said when you want someone to calm down but always made the situation way worse.
• Cowabunga Dude: This was our exclamation of rejoice. Brought to popularity by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
• Girl Power:  Ah yes – the Spice Girls, who used it as their motto, accompanied by raucous shouts and waved peace signs.
• Score: We use this to express delight!
• Pure Class: When something was absolutely brilliant.
• Deadly: Still used by my kids today – an expression to explain how “pure class” something is!
• Bags It: Shouted when you want something.  Or Bags Not: The opposite!
